As the non-profit association Freedom Sounds e.V., we have been organizing the two-day Freedom Sounds Festival every spring since 2013. Musically, it's all about ska, reggae, soul and everything in between and around it.

There is also the annual Freedom Sounds Christmas Ball (in Building 9) and other events.

Our aim is to bring festivals and concerts to the city's stages that would otherwise not exist in this combination. This is one of the reasons why our audience is so diverse and travels from all over Europe and beyond.

We are one hundred percent non-profit and stand up for values such as cultural diversity, accessibility, tolerance and a free, cosmopolitan society. Hence our motto Diversity, Love & Unity.
