KLuG - Köln leben und gestalten e.V. is a non-profit association that is committed to urban development in Cologne that is oriented towards the common good. Our aim is to improve the quality of life and coexistence and to create a socially, ecologically and economically sustainable environment. Our current focus is on the Liebig district between Ehrenfeld and Nippes.

Neighborhood work:

We listen, activate and network. In this way, we bring together ideas, wishes and needs, revitalize spaces and gradually build a sustainable network in the neighborhood. We create places where small and large ideas for a good life can be implemented.

Neighborhood development:

We are bridge builders! We bring stakeholders together and develop a vision for the neighborhood and the development of brownfield sites. In this way, we create long-term spaces and structures for a lively, ecological and social neighborhood.

The Liebig 257 project

Directly at Nippes station, we are creating an open place of creativity, exchange and togetherness for neighbors and interested parties.

Liebig257 is home to the living room, the neighborhood office and the workshop. This is where people can get to know each other, share ideas and learn from each other. We develop the program in the rooms together with volunteers, neighbors and our cooperation partners.
With regular offers, we want to strengthen social cohesion in the neighborhood and create an open and inclusive atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome, empowered and inspired.
