Philo.live!

The capital is getting a philosophy festival: Philosophie Magazin and phil.COLOGNE are joining forces to organize Philo.live! This year, our key question is: WHAT DOES FREEDOM MEAN HERE? It is therefore about a contested term that is undergoing a readjustment in times of great upheaval. We want to explore this new concept and argue about what freedom can and should mean in our day and age. Is individual freedom the core of human autonomy or egocentric ideology? Does climate change force us to think of freedom in terms of time? What will become of freedom as a result of geopolitical challenges?

Eva von Redecker, Peter Sloterdijk, Donatella Di Cesare, Herfried Münkler, Christoph Möllers, Wolfram Eilenberger, Thea Dorn, Florence Gaub, Heribert Prantl and many others will be discussing these issues on stage.
