The fifth case for Dutch inspecteur Piet van Houvencamp

Two teenagers are making out on the beach when they discover a dead man's hand sticking out of the sand. The beach patrol immediately informs the police in Middelburg. Inspector Piet van Houvencamp and his assistant take up the investigation. The identity of the dead man is quickly established, as his ID and cell phone are in his pocket. He is a Belgian citizen - and a real estate agent. He had previously tried to buy up campsites in the area in order to have luxury chalets built there. His death immediately calls the German campers and amateur detectives to the scene. To van Houvencamp's displeasure, they begin to investigate on their own ...

Bernd Stelter, born in 1961, is one of Germany's best-known cabaret artists. He was part of RTL's 7 Köpfe for ten years. He also tours Germany with his cabaret programs. He lives with his wife near Cologne, but is in Holland as often as possible and loves camping.
