Katrin Linke is a marine biologist and science journalist who worked for almost twenty years as an author for ARD, ARTE and ZDF science magazines. Katrin Linke has been writing non-fiction children's books for Loewe Verlag since 2021. Her book "Die spannende Welt der Viren und Bakterien" was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for children for several weeks. Her first-reader series "Ocean Twins" has been published by Carlsen since 2023. Karsten Brensing is a marine biologist and behavioral scientist. After completing his doctorate, he spent ten years as scientific director of the German office of the international whale and dolphin conservation organization WDC and worked as a consultant for the European Commission, among others. His book "The Mystery of Animals" has been translated into several languages and was on the bestseller list for weeks. His first children's book "How Animals Think and Feel", published in 2019, was the 2019 Science Book of the Year.
