15. Internationaler Wettbewerb für Liedkunst Stuttgart: Finale

The Stuttgart International Art Song Competition, which will be held in Stuttgart for the 15th time in 2026, is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious competitions for song duos.
The competition will be livestreamed online and offers all young singers and pianists born after December 31, 1992, a platform to engage with this particularly beautiful and challenging art form and to present it to a large, international audience.
In addition to Franz Schubert and Hugo Wolf as the competition’s established “foundation,” the 2026 competition’s repertoire will also focus on American art song composers as well as five European female composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In addition, to mark the 100th anniversary of Rainer Maria Rilke’s death this year, new settings of Rilke’s poetry have been commissioned from three contemporary international female composers.
