Eszter Szedmák received a thorough education at the youth school of the renowned Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. There she studied piano, organ, harpsichord, and instrument making. After studying in Weimar and as an Erasmus scholar in Paris, she won several international competition prizes for organ and harpsichord. Since the fall of 2025, she has been leading an organ class at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar. In addition to Bach, Eszter Szedmák explores various facets of French organ music, including the melancholic yet hopeful tone of Franck’s *Prière* and the sublime grandeur of Duruflé’s *Veni Creator*, inspired by Gregorian chant.
