27. Choriner Straßenfest

In the organizer's words:

After being canceled in 2025, the Choriner street festival is back this year On Saturday, 30 May 2026 from 1 pm, Choriner Straße between Oderberger Straße and Schwedter Straße will once again become a meeting place for neighbors and visitors. Traditionally, the characteristic pennant chains in the northern part of the street are renewed for the festival - a sign of neighborly solidarity.

This year, the festival will get off to a sporty start with a tai chi demonstration and hands-on neighborhood training. There will belive music from 2 pm on the big stage with Radio Italia, Blendend, Hiddit, AllesVonUns and the Bolschewistische Kurkapelle. Other acts and performances such as Orchestre Miniature in the Park, Gesangsverein Oxytocin, Take me to the Lake and Minka Straße will be performing on the street.

In addition to the wide range of culinary offerings from the food trucks, bars and local restaurants, there will also be a varied children's programme, the popular residents' flea market and a tombola full of surprises - all organized on a voluntary basis.

The street festival in Choriner Straße has been an integral part of neighborhood life in Prenzlauer Berg for many years and offers space for encounters, culture and neighborhood life. The festival is open to the public free of charge and is financed by voluntary contributions, on-site sales, donations and support from the businesses on the street.
