At 34, Lalo is not quite young, but he needs the money. He works for low pay in a metal workshop, is HIV-positive and has hardly any social security. But he does have a lot of sex, especially virtually: he is an erotic influencer. And gets involved in a porn production. A Mexican revolutionary drama as a gay hardcore product. Lalo lives freedom and independence for his followers, while at the same time succumbing to his loneliness and lack of commitment.
Manuel Abramovich mixes feature film and documentary: Lalo Santos plays himself, and the film within the film, "Pornozapata", was actually shot with Lalo during the PORNOMELANCHOLIA shoot.
