The TrebeCafé, a drop-in center for girls and young women without a place to live, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The facility offers homeless girls and young women a place to stay during the day with free care provided without any conditions, counseling on almost any topic, assistance with visits to government agencies, and referrals to the support system. Visitors are supported by street workers on the street; school classes are informed about the center’s work through prevention events; and in an empowerment project, the young women can be creative and discover their own strengths. All services are free of charge, provided without conditions, voluntary, and can also be accessed anonymously.

Over 60% of TrebeCafé’s funding comes from donations. It is only through donations that we can offer weekend and holiday hours, intensive support, birthday gifts, field trips, free meals, services outside of regular hours, and much more.
