8. Europäisches Literaturfestival Köln-Kalk / Eröffnungslesung

Opening Reading of the 8th European Literature Festival Cologne-Kalk
For the eighth time, the European Literature Festival (ELK) presents international literature, focusing on the theme of “Shame” and drawing visitors to various venues in Kalk. On the opening night, poets Kaisa Aglen (Norway), Sasha Lavrenchuk (Munich/Ukraine), Maarja Pärtna (Estonia), and Nansý Sunadóttir (Faroe Islands) will read their works. The translations will be read by Karin Fellner, Yohan Holtkamp, Anna Pia Jordan-Bertinelli, and Wassiliki Knithaki. Adrian Kasnitz will moderate the evening.
The festival takes place from September 4–13. All ELK readings are free of charge. The detailed program can be found here: www.elk-festival.com
