The inimitable post-rock outsiders A BURIAL AT S EA released their second album"Closer To Home" on February 23, 2024 via the Berlin label Pelagic Records. Hailing from Ireland, A BURIAL AT SEA made waves in 2018 when they turned traditionally strict post-rock on its head with their "...And The Sum Of Its Parts" EP, bursting with bombastic creativity. As a result, A BURIAL AT SEA spent months on tour, honing their fiery craft and earning a loyal fanbase across Europe, with festival appearances at Dunk! (BE), Colossal (DK), ArcTanGent (UK) and Bergmal (CH), which led to a support tour for "And So I Watch You From Afar" and local appearances with "Caspian", "Tera Melos" and "This Will Destroy You". Released in 2020, the bombastic self-titled album released on Moment of Collapse is a mix of emo, math rock, hardcore punk and even black metal. The band was in the process of finding their style during their first album, but their new album "Close to Home" has shown that they have solidified their sound, with their songs sounding like they have been approached with maturity and precision.

NOISE RAID is music with emotions, edges, lots of effects and certainly doesn't need vocals. By combining instrumental metal with punk rock, black metal and many other styles, the four Munich natives create their unmistakable soundscapes. These often begin with atmospheric melodies and build up into huge mountains of distortion. They deliberately break with expectations by using unusual rhythms, song structures and timbres. The listener is taken on a journey through his own ideas and feelings from song to song, without imposing an interpretation on them verbally.
