As a Bielefeld native, Abdelkarim is preoccupied with one central question: Is the world moving too fast, or is he simply too slow? Although he tragically suspects the answer lies with himself for reasons, he prefers to look for answers that will directly benefit all of humanity. His motto is clear: Why set small goals when you can fail with big ones? In his search for answers, the world's only elected Duisburger moves through an everyday life with constantly changing perspectives. In the process, he talks to everyone, from young to not-so-young, from light white to dark black, and from female to male. This is how stories for laughs are created, which now and then also cause big question marks for him.
Are there jackets in which he doesn't look like a special episode of "Aktenzeichen XY"? Why do people suddenly forget their language when they have children? What is the best time for a viral hit? Does it fall under "voluntary work" if Abdelkarim hires on as an admin in a police chat group?
Such questions and many other moments of overload always lead the Moroccan you trust to a realization: "We're calming down." Exhale deeply three times and inhale in between. Abdelkarim is sure: "If we all don't take ourselves too seriously, and if we all talk more to each other instead of about each other, we'll get it all worked out."
