Africa Film Festival x home movie: KILLER OF SHEEP (OV)
Stan lives with his family in Watts, a poor neighborhood in Los Angeles inhabited mainly by African-Americans like himself. Day after day, he toils in a slaughterhouse to feed his family, but the brutal, humdrum work becomes increasingly hard on him, making peaceful and loving moments with his wife, daughter and son increasingly rare.
