Why take just one when you can have two? Two citizenships, for example? Sounds simple, but it's not: "Being French AND German at the same time is a contradiction in terms!" says Alfons. And he knows why: "Germans are disciplined, punctual and efficient - the French are normal!" And yet: the roving reporter with the tracksuit jacket and fluffy microphone took the risk - and has now made a program out of it:

In "ALFONS - Jetzt noch deutscherer", he tells the story of how he became German, from his magical, sunny childhood days in France to the beguilingly velvety gray of German offices. And Alfons does not come alone, but with extremely charming accompaniment: surrounded by grand piano sounds, his story repeatedly becomes a musical pas de deux, sometimes humorous, sometimes thoughtful, often completely surprising.
