Four French female musicians will perform their own chansons this evening—about love and life.

Cassandre is from Paris. A gem of the new French
pop chanson scene, an up-and-coming artist. It’s almost impossible to describe her
possible. You have to experience her and let yourself be captivated, both by her
fragile yet commanding voice as well as by her sensitive,
delicate lyrics. As a pianist, she brings an incomparable touch to her playing.

Lucie-Valentine is originally from the French-speaking part
Belgium. With her delicate, clear, slightly husky voice, she tells
touches the soul, and her piano resonates
resonate poetically.

Marie Fleurie lives in Solingen, where she has lived as a Frenchwoman for 50 years. She
chansons she wrote late in life—as a sort of “late-life project,” so to speak.

Lorelie is a Frenchwoman living in Burscheid. She looks back on a remarkable
experience as a musician, including as a pianist. Her emotional chansons,
which she sings with a magnificent voice, touch the soul deeply.
