European Sahaja Yoga Tour 2026 as a guest in Cologne
Cultural program "Sound of Silence - Unity in Diversity"
On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the European Sahaja Yoga Tour invites you to a special cultural evening in Cologne. Under the title "Sound of Silence - Unity in Diversity", the event combines European classical music, Indian music traditions, dance and meditation to create a shared artistic experience.
The European Sahaja Yoga Tour brings together young people from more than twenty European countries. Its aim is to create spaces for encounters, mutual understanding and inner development through art, music and meditation.
The Cologne cultural program presents works of European classical music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Alessandro Marcello, Claude Debussy, Robert Schumann and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well as traditional Indian music forms with bhajans, ragas, harmonium, tabla and sarod.
Participating artists:
Maria Merson - piano
Yelyzaveta Shaporenko - soprano
Natalia Jakovleva - Kuchipudi dance
Vladimir Pavlov - harmonium and vocals
Sergey Puchkov - Tabla
Stephen Day - Sarod
The program will be complemented by an introduction to meditation according to Sahaja Yoga, a meditation method founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, which is practiced in over 100 countries today. The evening is an invitation to experience music and culture not only as an artistic expression, but also as a source of harmony, inspiration and inner stillness.
