Andy Akiho | Überschlag Festival 2026

The seven-time Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist Andy Akiho is coming to Überschlag 2026.

Akiho is one of the most exciting and influential artists on the international percussion scene. His music combines concert hall, groove, experimental soundscapes and the energy of pop and club culture to create a radically unique sound language.

At the center of his festival stay is a large-scale performance project that will be developed during the festival week together with the international participants of the Überschlag CAMP.

Instead of a classical master class atmosphere, a joint artistic process will be created: rehearsing, developing and finally performing live at the festival together with Andy Akiho.

The concert with a cross-section of his dazzling compositions forms the centerpiece of this year's festival - where world class and community meet directly.
