Arash Sobhani & Kiosk

Concert on September 29, 2024 - Schauspielhaus, Kleines Haus

Arash Sobhani performs with his band for the first time at the Kleines Haus in Düsseldorf and presents his new jazz album as well as several works by his band Kiosk. After censorship and restrictions by the Iranian authorities, Arash emigrated to the USA and has since organized numerous concerts and television programmes.

Arash has been involved in various projects, most notably as leader of the band Kiosk, whose lyrics and melodies offer an honest opportunity for self-reflection in a society where nearly seventy percent of the population is under the age of thirty. This music particularly appeals to younger generations of the diaspora who have not yet visited their home countries.
