Ásgeir

Ásgeir belongs to a generation of Nordic artists who prove that quiet sounds can resonate louder than any pathos. In a fast-moving music industry, the Icelandic singer-songwriter stands for sustainability, closeness and consistency - restrained, uncompromising and deeply authentic. With his fragile yet haunting voice, which often seems dreamy, almost angelic, Ásgeir conveys emotional depth, while his works are characterized by melodic lightness and gentle contrasts: Fragile falsetto vocals meet warm guitars, electronic arrangements envelop folky intimacy. All in all, a guarantee for melting hearts, whether on large stages with enthusiastic crowds or in small venues that allow and encourage an intensive audience connection. With his album "Julia", released in February, Ásgeir can be experienced up close in the Palmengarten.
