Urban brass meets rap. After two successful tours in 2023 and 2024 and a successful summer of festivals, one thing is clear: Moop Mama and Älice have long been more than just an exciting idea, they are a perfect match who have opened a new chapter in the band's fifteen-year history with their joint album "Wieder Laut". As a singing rapper with Caribbean and Polish roots, Älice - known as one half of Chefboss and through her collaboration with the Spanish all-female band Ketekalles - brings dancehall power to the table. Her voice forms the heart of the songs, which encourage people to move closer together, to reconnect and to show solidarity, from person to person. The collaboration also opens up new stylistic spaces. Afrobeat and phonk-inspired beats meet punky, earthy sounds and a generous portion of soul. Being loud becomes a necessary reaction to an increasingly noisy world - politically committed and full of energy.
