Astrid is on the verge of making music history and fulfilling her late father’s dream: bringing together four world-famous Stradivarius violins for a concert for the very first time. But the harmony ends with the precious string instruments. The soloists hired for the project—Lise, George, Peter, and Apolline—may be virtuosos on their instruments, but they can’t control their emotions. During rehearsals at the secluded château, vanity, old rivalries, and artistic differences clash. To save this once-in-a-century project from failure, Astrid asks the eccentric composer Charlie Beaumont for help. Now it’s up to him to turn four lone wolves into a quartet and bring the incomparable sound of the Stradivarius to life.
