Beasts and Bodies

In the organizer's words:

This is not about monsters. Or is it? An invitation to encounter those fleeting creatures that emerge within us - sometimes quietly, sometimes loudly - when closeness reaches its limits. When we don't know whether we are falling or flying. When trust is challenging.

Beasts & Bodies is dedicated to what we cannot bear alone. Between the fear of losing control and the longing for the unknown, new places unfold in the in-between. Riding through familiar and distant spaces, bodies reposition themselves, shift and take off. A piece that defies gravity - in an atmosphere of neon circus and fairground glitch.

With their unmistakable signature between contemporary dance and acrobatics, the Overhead Project company creates an impressive performance about closeness, risk and what can happen when we expose ourselves to each other.

Our solidarity pricing system applies to selected events in the performing arts - dance, theater, performance and contemporary circus. We want more people to be able to attend our events. We have therefore opted for a price system based on mutual support: Those who can afford culture without having to count are invited to pay more than others. This makes a visit to E-WERK possible for many, while at the same time the artists you see on our stages receive a share of the income. A fair fee is also linked to a fair ticket price. Your ticket purchase helps to pay for our work fairly. Our solidarity pricing system is based on your self-assessment. Proof of concessions is not necessary.
