Lecture by Dr. Guido Arnold from the Duisburg Institute for Linguistic and Social Research: Why ChatGPT with 'social' media as a sounding board promotes right-wing extremism, increases inequality and disrupts community. And why the political radicalization of BigTech protagonists is more than just a 'Trump effect'.
Dr. Guido Arnold studied theoretical physics at the Universities of Wuppertal and Nantes and completed his doctorate in quantum theory. He then worked at the Jülich Research Center on the simulation of quantum computers on supercomputers. Since his involvement with algorithmic modeling of physical systems, he has been working on the transfer of such computer simulations to social systems.
