Birdland Vocal Session is the open stage event for singers. Accompanied by a professional band, everything from jazz, pop, blues, rap, soul to freestyle improvisation is brought to the stage. Since March 2016, the Vocal Session has once again taken place at Birdland. Whether professionals or amateurs, everyone is invited to sing and contribute to an exciting and diverse program. Singers like Beate Kynast will open the session and lead the evening.

Bring a lead sheet to a song or two, bring lots of friends to cheer you on, and perform with top-notch instrumentalists backing you up.
