At this special in the Bayenthaler Wirtshaus, BOING! brings the legendary comedy club to your neighborhood! For over 12 years, BOING! has been the meeting place for Cologne's comedy scene and offers the most genuine, honest, authentic, fresh, cheeky, raw and above all funny stand-up comedy.

Claudius Pläging has long been in demand as a writer for some of Germany's best-known comedians - now he's finally taking to the stage himself. His topics range from the absurdities of everyday life to neutered dogs and highly peculiar parenting tips. With a maximum of dryness and absolutely to the point, he inspires a growing audience throughout Germany.

Torsten Schlosser:
Torsten Schlosser rumbles through the cabaret and comedy drawers like an elephant through a china store - sometimes politically pointed, sometimes senselessly absurd. The Cologne culture magazine choices calls him "currently the most unpredictable of all Cologne cabaret artists".

Maren Fjall:
Maren Fjall is a Cologne native and newcomer showpony on the German comedy scene. And like all of us, she asks herself the big questions: Why are we the way we are? Where do we come from, where are we going? And what was I doing there again? The whole thing is lovingly packaged in hand-chiseled gags, clever observations and blunt wordplay and finds its way, sometimes around five corners, sometimes directly, straight to the audience's humor center.

Bea Herzog:
Comedienne by night and psychotherapist by day. Bea Herzog combines therapeutic themes and humor on stage. No human emotion is alien to her and she captures these moments and then celebrates them with the audience. Comedy and therapy with Bea Herzog is full of humor, never stiff and
breaks smartly with taboos.

Manuel Wolff
Manuel Wolff is the founder of the BOING! Comedy Club and has been a professional stand-up comedian himself for 18 years. In addition to BOING!, he also performs on all kinds of stages in other cities, has won 7 cabaret awards and tours throughout Germany with his solo and mix shows.

His spontaneous, unpredictable, yet precisely timed style is unique in the comedy field, he is bursting with ideas and his precise powers of observation and quick changes from deepest irony to childish joy, silliness and profound thoughts guarantee incomparable entertainment. His endless talent for improvisation makes him one of the most notorious crowd-workers and most popular hosts of comedy shows.

He also performs internationally, e.g. in Amsterdam, Paris, Luxembourg, Brussels, Helsinki and London. He gave a TedX talk on comedy ("creating world peace one laugh at a time" and was the German "comedy expert" for the web series "Laughs in Translation" produced by "Saturday Night Live".
