Bremen liest! - Claudia Milde liest aus "Die merken es ja nicht"
In the organizer's words:
A village in northern Tenerife, untouched by the influx of tourists. Ana, a German prosecutor who lives there for many months of the year, is initially fascinated by the supposed idyll. She is also struck by how well some residents with cognitive impairments seem to be integrated. But then a young woman disappears.
Her battered body is found floating lifeless in the sea. The village is in an uproar, and speculation runs rampant about the possible perpetrator. Only a stranger, the locals say, could have done this …
Claudia Milde was born in Bückeburg in 1950 and worked as a prosecutor
and a judge. She lives in Tenerife and Bremen. “They Don’t Even Notice” is her first novel.
