Sterne und Schlafen
In the organizer's words:
The modern night is often brighter, noisier, and more active than the days of earlier generations. Artificial light, screens, late-night communication, and constant availability
extend our waking hours, while darkness is increasingly disappearing from everyday life. This is precisely where the new evening event “Stars and Sleep” at the Olbers Planetarium in Bremen comes in.
Sleep coach, lifestyle speaker, and content creator Nils Traummann uses the night as a starting point for a broader exploration: How does light influence our internal clock? Why do humans need a distinct transition between activity and rest? And why is darkness not merely the absence of light, but a biologically significant signal?
Recommended for ages 16 and up; duration approx. 60 minutes
