Lesung: Worte in Solidarność – Literatur zwischen Erinnerung und Verantwortung

This German-Polish-French literary and discussion evening is dedicated to the role of literature, journalism, and personal memory in times of social upheaval.

Guests will include Piotr Adamowicz and Remigiusz Grzela. The program will be complemented by presentations on the legendary Paris-based exile journal *Kultura* and its influence on democratic thought in Europe. Since the year 2026 in Poland is dedicated to the memory of Jerzy Giedroyc, the significance of this extraordinary intellectual project for Polish-European understanding will also be discussed. Karina Garsztecka will provide a cultural-historical perspective on this topic.
