Bremen liest! - Karina Skwirblies liest aus "Die Tauben von St. Stephanie"
In the organizer's words:
Bremen, March 1889. Passengers on an ocean liner bound for America fall ill—wine, beer, and chocolates have been poisoned. Mysterious blackmail letters arrive at corporate headquarters—a new case for the master detective. For the second time, Sherlock Holmes delves deep into Bremen’s underworld. The trail leads him, among other places, to the
steeple of St. Stephani—and right into the heart of a web of greed, despair, and guilt. Amid the shadowy alleys of the Stephaniviertel, secret meetings in the steam bath, and a dramatic chase through the Teufelsmoor, Holmes uncovers not only crimes but also a story of social injustice.
After studying literature and theater studies
in Berlin, she moved to Bremen to work as a freelance journalist.
