Bremen liest! - Monika Arnold liest aus "Nach draussen"
In the organizer's words:
Henriette participates in life only as an observer. The successful author has failed in her personal relationships and lives a completely reclusive life in a small townhouse in Bremen. From her window, she watches the comings and goings in her neighborhood and invents
stories about the people whose lives she follows from a safe distance. When her neighbor Diana rings her doorbell one day, her slow journey back into life begins.
Monika Arnold has lived in Bremen with her husband since 1980. It wasn’t until she retired that she began to actively pursue her passion for storytelling and writing. Her stories often center on women whose life paths are not straightforward, who must cope with setbacks, and who emerge stronger from their difficulties
