The New York-based ensemble Alarm Will Sound captivates audiences with energetic contemporary music like no other—and rightly so, as they won a Grammy this year. Beethovenfest Fellow Brittany J. Green has composed the piece gLitchED dreams//invisible BEINGS for the ensemble. Using text collages, music, and video art, it tells the story of the android Eye, who attempts to break free from his predetermined path. The program also features other contemporary works from the United States.
