Carlo Poddighe has stood for musical passion, technical virtuosity and international stage presence for over three decades. The Italian-born musician has been performing professionally since 1993 and has toured throughout Europe and the United States over the course of his career. With his band The Matt Project, he has played in renowned venues such as the "Bitter End" in New York and the "Pizza Express" in London and has worked in the studio with renowned producers such as Steve Greenwell (Joss Stone) and Roman Coppola. Since 2020 - thanks to the coronavirus phase - Carlo Poddighe has been causing a stir with his innovative one-man band project SuperEgo. Band rehearsals and gigs were forbidden, so Carlo thought:" ... then I'll be my own band". No sooner said than done. After weeks and nights of rehearsing alone in the rehearsal room, Carlo began recording his songs on video and posting them on Facebook. This enabled him to reach an international audience and achieve viral success. Since then, he has been touring Europe continuously.

Now in fall 2026 also on tour in Germany for the first time!

With SuperEgo, Carlo Poddighe takes the concept of the one-man band to a new level: he plays guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and sings at the same time - completely live, without the use of backing tracks or loopers. The result is an energetic, authentic performance that captivates the audience from the very first moment.

His repertoire combines a creative and entertaining mix of his own songs and selected cover versions - a rousing live show that combines musical diversity, technical finesse, virtuosity and pure joy of playing.
