Carmen in the southern city as an opera snack is a reduction to the essentials of the world-famous opera by Bizet. In it we show the fateful encounter between the soldier Don José (Thomas Heyer) and the irrepressible Carmen (Marina Unruh ). For her he wants to give up his position as a soldier, considers deserting and wants to free himself from all bourgeois life - will it work?

In addition, there is a real bullfighter (Tim Lukas Reuter) and the charming girl Micaela (Agnes Lipka). The opera is accompanied with many well-known melodies by our brilliant orchestra on the piano Christoph Schnackertz. And again and again Death (Lothar Lange) comes into play - he will hold the strings in his hands, sprinkled with a lot of humor, and maybe even fall in love himself at the end.....

Our ensemble sings at various opera houses in Europe and will accompany you through the story of Carmen. This is how opera should be: close up, to touch, to laugh, to cry beautifully!
