What is special about us?
We are about 70 singers who sing old and new songs in Cologne language with a lot of fun and joy. From Willi Ostermann, Hans Knipp, Ludwig Sebus, Bläck Fööss, Höhner, Brings, Jacques Offenbach (with cologne lyrics) also currently Beethoven, Ode to Joy "op Kölsch". Many of our songs, we have a repertoire of more than 100 pieces, are arranged for several voices by our choir director Andreas Biertz.
Andreas Biertz is a full-time music teacher at the Archbishop's Vocational College in Cologne and also plays as a pianist in Marcus Quadt's band during the 5th season. He writes choral arrangements and regularly organizes choral projects.

What inspires us about Cologne music?
Cologne songs connect old and young, because many know the songs from childhood. We are thrilled when guests in the hall sing along and are happy when the audience listens to our polyphonic songs and gets goose bumps. With the songs we try to bring the cologne feeling of life into the hearts of the audience and thereby preserve and promote the cologne language.

Where do we perform?
Every year at Christmas time we look forward to the concerts on Schill- and Roncalliplatz, when the visitors sing along with our songs and the Christmas mood arises.

Highlights
A special experience was our performance at the Philharmonie with "Su klink Kölsch zor Chressdagszigg" in December 2018.

Our visits bring special joy to people in community centers and town halls in the city of Cologne and in social institutions, including with the Cologne Triumvirate.
