When two-time Grimme Award winner Claudia Michelsen takes to the stage, the small hall of the Kulturraffinerie K714 is transformed into a place full of warmth and little winter wonders. With her unmistakable voice, the popular actress, known from Polizeiruf 110 and the Ku'damm series, brings a selection of the most beautiful Christmas stories to life - sometimes cheerful, sometimes profound, but always touching.

At her side, the celebrated jazz trumpeter Jakob Bänsch provides the perfect backdrop. The winner of the German Jazz Award 2024 creates musical spaces with his sound that carry, deepen and surprisingly reinterpret the words read. The result is a lively dialog that captures the entire spectrum of the festive season: from longing and the glow of lights to the amusing pitfalls of the "wrong presents".
