Cleanup & Picknick

In the organizer's words:

Picnic & Cleanup in cooperation with the Stadtgartenverein Köln

Let's do something good together on the day of honor, the nationwide day of participation on the birthday of the Basic Law: We'll start with a cleanup campaign, clear the park of litter lying around and meet nice new people. Afterwards, we will reward ourselves with a cozy zero waste picnic. Whether it's fresh fruit, homemade snacks, grandma's apple pie, bread and spreads or drinks from glass or stainless steel bottles - everything is welcome, as long as it's as free of disposable waste as possible! Of course, we have a special heart for treats made from rescued food. And so that everyone can join in the meal, we would be delighted if you could bring vegan options where possible.

🗓 When: May 23 from 12:00 noon
📍 Where: Stadtgarten

♻️ Bring: Blanket, reusable crockery & cutlery, treats without packaging - preferably rescued and vegan, good mood!

🧤 Rubbish collection: We bring gloves for adults and children, bin bags and a large number of grab tongs.

🌦️ Weather: In bad weather, we can use the parish hall of the Christuskirche as an indoor alternative for our picnic.
