This concert is a tribute to Campos de Arenoso - the submerged village of my grandparents in Spain. A place that lies under water today, but lives on in memory and music.

The setlist is entirely dedicated to this theme: joy, loss, longing and farewell.

Music and poetry alternate and complement each other - classical guitar sounds and Spanish poetry enter into a quiet, touching dialog.

The poetry was penned by my grandfather - full of depth, emotional and poignant - and performed by my father of the same name, Eliseo Balaguer. An intergenerational remembrance, carried by words and sound.

I would be delighted if you could share this evening with us - in an intimate setting and after many years finally back in Cologne, at the Spanish Cultural Association.
