Workshops on the following topics

• Antifeminism with Detox Identity | Critical Masculinity | Cologne
• Hatespeech in social media with Willi Eichler Academy - strengthening political education
• Anti-racism with Lea and Maria from the NS Documentation Center of the City of Cologne
• Creative writing with Fabi from junge Stadt Köln e.V.

Many groups, organizations and initiatives where you can become active and take part in activities:

• Graffiti campaign with the Wednesday painters
• Kalkbüdchen of the Abenteuer Halle Kalk - center for urban youth and movement culture

Closing show with Read. Write. Show. - Young City of Cologne

Political participation doesn't have to be boring - it has to be empowering, practical and collaborative.

The connect & act event : Network. Have your say. Change by the Partnership for Democracy Cologne in the Abenteuerhallen Kalk is aimed at young people and young adults and aims to inspire and inform them in a creative and interactive way about topics such as democracy, social commitment and participation - through workshops, talks and artistic formats, among other things. You can also expect music, interactive activities, a food truck and much more.

connect & act is developed, planned and carried out together with the event management trainees at the Joseph Du Mont Berufskolleg and organized in cooperation with the child-friendly municipality of Cologne, the youth office and the Cologne Youth Ring.
