D-Dorf Pop Day

The 10th D-Dorf Pop Day brings a jam-packed edition to zakk Düsseldorf on June 20 - with eight live acts on two stages, a DJ set, three workshops and a panel discussion.
Greiner will kick things off on the indoor stage: rock'n'roll, insecurity and the longing for lightness. At the same time, Sorayah opens the pub - the 19-year-old US-German neo-pop artist does everything herself and sounds unmistakable. Us and I from Düsseldorf and Bangalore follow with synthpop and shoegaze between two worlds. Dieter Falk invites you to a vocal jam pop on the indoor stage - singing along is expressly encouraged, including special guests Alina Simon and Fabian Haupt.

The discussion will then take place on the indoor stage: Who runs the world? Equal rights in pop - is the revolution complete? Female artists from Düsseldorf talk about their experiences, the reality behind the charts and what still needs to change in the music scene.

Afterwards, things continue on both stages: Parakeets bring acoustic indie pop with two voices and a debut album to the pub, Zilinski look where others look away on the indoor stage - danceable and relentless. m n g l x m p l r take over the pub with dark Düsseldorf electro underground. The evening concludes with ruka on the indoor stage: indie pop that hits, a voice that lingers.

DJ Sofire provides the grand finale: with reggaeton, salsa, cumbia and other hot rhythms, she invites you to the dance floor - sweating, feeling and booty bouncing are expressly encouraged.

There are three workshops during the day: The demo check with Dieter Falk and Miguel Passarge will put your song under the microscope. Sabine Fleischer and Dirk Weuthen will provide information about music funding in Düsseldorf. Sofire offers a FLINTA*-only DJ workshop on basic skills and empowerment.
