On February 19, 2027, the Blue Shell in Cologne will be the venue for a unique evening: DARKWAYS and CULT NOIR combine goth rock, darkwave, and post-punk in a joint lineup.

DARKWAYS

DARKWAYS is a goth rock, darkwave, and post-punk duo from Barcelona, Spain. Their debut album, *Resonance* (released in late 2024), was well-received by critics. This led the band to tour Europe in 2025, with several sold-out shows and appearances at festivals such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Der Schwarze Ball, Castle Party, Santuario, Ombra, and others. There, they shared the stage with bands such as Sisters of Mercy, Kite, VNV Nation, French Police, and others.

In their music, the duo blends darkwave with classic goth rock and electronic elements. Their sound is described as atmospheric and energetic.

The duo made their debut in late 2024 with the EP *Neon Lights*, which served as the foundation for their first studio album, *Resonance* (2024)—a successful release for the Barcelona-based project.

Throughout 2025, they released several collaborations with artists such as The Spoiled, JFarrari, and Antipole. They also released four singles: “Fading Time,” “Hollow,” “Requiem,” and “Eternidad,” which were well-received by critics and audiences alike.

The band’s second album was released in early 2026.

CULT NOIR

CULT NOIR is a darkwave and post-punk project from Berlin. The band combines darkwave synthesizers with post-punk guitars and moves musically between melancholy and danceable elements.

The project began as a solo recording project with roots in the goth and punk scenes and now consists of two musicians.

Thematically, Cult Noir explores doom and gloom, dark aesthetics, and emotional depth. The music blends driving rhythms, synth pads, and melancholic guitar lines, and is both introspective and energetic.
