In the organizer's words:
In 1972, John Lennon and Yoko Ono took over America’s most-watched daytime show and drew 40 million viewers per week. In five bold episodes, they transformed The Mike Douglas Show into a platform for revolution—featuring Jerry Rubin, Bobby Seale, Ralph Nader, and George Carlin, Lennon’s duet with Chuck Berry, and a live performance of “Imagine.”
