When Sophie (Frankie Corio) is eleven years old, she spends a dream vacation in Turkey with her father Calum (Paul Mescal) in the late 1990s. Since they spend very little time together, Sophie enjoys this time off with her loving father all the more. As his daughter crosses the threshold into adolescence, Calum seems to be suffering under the weight of a life that extends beyond his role as a father. Twenty years later, Sophie reflects on her last vacation with her father as she tries to reconcile the man she knew with the one whose suffering she was unaware of.
The open-air movie screening with headphones will take place in the parking lot right next to the Filmhaus (Maybachstr. 111)!
The event begins around 9:45 p.m., once it’s dark enough.
In case of rain, all ticket holders will be notified by email, and the event will take place at 10:00 p.m. at the Filmhaus Kino.
