We’re shaking up the theater stage—with a literary competition in a class of its own: the Dead Or Alive Poetry Slam. This unique form of verbal duel is rightly called the supreme discipline of poetry slam. 

Do the works of the great literary figures from beyond still stand a chance against some of the strongest texts in contemporary stage poetry? Or will they be sent straight back to the grave by the audience’s vote? Can the country’s best—and very much alive—stage poets hold their own when the combined talent of top-tier actors brings the characters of the dead poets to life?
