For the 6th Tatort with customs investigator Kressin (Sieghardt Rupp), WDR dared to experiment: Samuel Fuller was flown in from Hollywood as director, bringing his own stars with him and really shaking up the world of German TV crime dramas. An uninhibited, eccentric B-movie set to the hypnotic music of Can, filmed in Bonn and Cologne, with a furious finale in the middle of the carnival. Filmclub 813 is showing an unfortunately already reddish, but extremely rare 35mm print of the American theatrical version.
