Based on the novel of the same name by Nicolas Mathieu, awarded the Prix Goncourt 2018.

August 1992, a remote valley in the east, blast furnaces that are no longer burning. Fourteen-year-old Anthony is bored to death. On a hot afternoon by the lakeside, he meets Stéphanie. It's love at first sight, so that he secretly takes his father's motorcycle that very evening to go to a party in the hope of seeing her again. When he discovers the next morning that the motorcycle has disappeared, his life is thrown into disarray.
