On July 14, youth politics & youth participation expert Dr. Anna Grebe will shed light on the question of why serious participation by children and young people is crucial for the continued existence of democracy.
Dr. Anna Grebe is a consultant, speaker, moderator and author at the intersection of media, politics and participation with a focus on youth politics and youth participation. Since completing her PhD at the University of Konstanz in 2015, she has worked for civil society actors, for associations, for ministries and for and with everyone who wants to promote the participation rights of young people. She is also a volunteer for good youth media protection, has been a jury member at international film festivals (Berlin, Havana, Karlovy Vary, Oberhausen) and a lecturer in media ethics and gender studies. Her anthology "Partizipation aus der Sicht von Mädchen* denken" was published by Beltz Juventa at the end of 2024 (ed. with D. Ringler).
