A play featuring two clowns, a “potty,” a bathtub, and a fish stick. Gebrr loves nothing more than sitting in the bathroom and fishing in the bathtub. But today is Saturday, and Saturday is Grimm’s bath day. She’d be happy to put the fishing rod away if only Grimm would read her a fairy tale—preferably one with fish and fishing—and, of course, it has to end with a little kiss. And what fairy tale could be more fitting than “The Fisherman and His Wife”? There isn’t a little kiss at the end in that one, but Gebrr is sure she can snag one anyway. And before you know it, Gebrr becomes the fisherman’s son, Grimm becomes his perpetually dissatisfied wife Helene, the bathroom becomes the vast, open sea, and the bathtub turns sometimes into a fishing boat and sometimes into a royal palace...
