There's another Super 8 evening, and this time we're going back to prehistoric times:
SUPER 8 SURPRISE FEATURES
Home cinema in the movie theater with introductions by MoeRockz. Approx. 150 min.
"When the dinosaurs ruled the earth": MoeRockz shows a selection of films featuring the prehistoric lizards from its extensive treasure trove of Super 8 films - and in the short versions of the Super 8 cine film format. Before video, Super 8 was the only way to bring cinema into the home. The films were shortened for cost reasons: a roll of film had 17 minutes...
The original analog film reels from back then rattle through the projector in the middle of the cinema, and the images that film fans used to watch in their living rooms before the age of VHS flicker on the screen. We show the home cinema of that time in our movie theater - you've never seen movies like this before!
