One night, a giant green hot-air balloon appears outside Doro’s window and carries her away from her gray world—to Oz, a fabulous land, colorful and beautiful. Her mission: to cross the land, collect emeralds, enter the castle, and find the Wizard. On her journey, Doro meets the Tin Woman without a heart, the Scarecrow without a brain, and the Lion without courage. They quickly become companions. And between magical kisses and glittering shoes, small and great miracles happen to them.
Sergej Gößner has created a new stage adaptation based on L. Frank Baum’s *The Wizard of Oz*. It allows us to dream ourselves away while still remaining connected to our world.
